PUBLIC COMPLAINTS CELL RESOLVES 598 COMPLAINS IN FEBRUARY, IMTIAZ AHMAD
MALLAH, PCC INCHARGE AND SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO CM SINDH.

Karachi, March 5, 2014: As many as 618 public complaints were received in
the month of Feburary2014 by the Public Complaint Cell (PCC-919),
established on the directives of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at C.M
House, and 598  complains have resolved which is 96 percent. This was
observed by the Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh and PCC In
charge Mr. Imtiaz Mallah in his monthly statement on the performance of
the Cell issued here on today. He said that the Provincial Ministers and
other officers received complaints from the public through telephone and
conveyed the same to the officials of concerned department for early
redressal.   According the monthly statement of February there were 84
complaints against police, 182 K-Electric, 119 PTCL, 67 SSGC, 38 KMC and
128 complains reported against KWSB. In charge PCC has said that PPP Govt
believes in easy access to common man to redress the public problems at
grass root level consequently has established public complaint cell with
toll free telephone No 0800-91915 since 2008. He said by this methodology
government was also monitoring performance of different provincial
administrative organizations in resolving the public grievances and
delivering their efficient deliveries to the people. He  advised the
general public to register/convey their problems and grievances at
Complaint Cell on telephone numbers 99202065,99208081, 0800-91915,
99202007 (fax), which are functioning round the clock. He assured the
people that rapid action would be taken for solution of their problems.
