Islamabad, 9 July 2017: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has condoled the death of General Secretary PPP Gujranwala city Shaikh Muhammad Iqbal who died on Sunday.
Former President in his condolence message said that Shaikh Muhammad Iqbal was a brave worker of the Party who suffered immensely during Zia-ul-Haq’s dictatorship. He paid rich tributes to Shaikh Muhammad Iqbal for his sacrifices and struggle for democracy and loyalty to Bhutto family. He will be remembered for a long time by his friends and party workers and leadership, former President said.
Asif Ali Zardari also prayed to Almighty Allah for grant of eternal peace to the departed soul and strength and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
