KARACHI, April 13: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawalo Bhutto Zardari has said that people of Sindh were fed up from unending electricity and gas load-shedding while Federal government was torpedoing Sindh government’s efforts to generate its own electricity by refusing gas connection to its power plant.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated this while talking to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah who called on him at Bilawal House today.
Chief Minister briefed the Party Chairman about development schemes being carried out by Sindh government in Karachi and other parts of province besides the law and order situation.
Chairman PPP stressed that all the development schemes should be completed in time so that benefit may be passed on to the people.
He said that that Nawaz government has launched Rs37 billion gas projects for his cronies in particular belt but denying gas connection to Sindh’s 100mw power plant in Nooriabad.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Federal government should address the logical gas concerns of Sindh and resolve the issue without any further delay.
He also appreciated Sindh government for taking its own initiatives to generate electricity for ending load-shedding in Karachi and other parts of the province ahead of the scorching heat-wave of the summer.
