Bilawal Bhutto Zardari conducts interviews for PPP Lahore District

LAHORE, March 14: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held interviews for PPP Lahore District reorganization in Bilawal House Lahore today.

Those Party candidates recommended by the PPP Central Punjab Coordination Committee after consultations with workers at the district level appeared for the interviews. Former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, PPP Punjab President Qamaruz Zaman Kaira, General Secretary Nadeem Afzal Chan, Information Secretary Mustafa Nawaz, Political Secretary to the Chairman Jameel Soomro and others were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the PPP Chairman said that new organizations are being elected through a consultative process involved all cadres of the Party. From Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, PPP leadership has always given importance to Jiyalas and workers and this great tradition is here to stay in future also, he added.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Lahore enjoys a special status in the PPP as the Party saw its successful take off from this historic city and sacrifices and struggle of the Party workers from Lahore against cruel dictatorships braving imprisonments, torture and inhuman lashes.

He said that PPP will win the next general elections from Lahore and entire Central Punjab. PPP candidates will be fielded in every constituency in Central Punjab despite the attempts by Nawaz government to turn Lahore into no-go area. Murder of PPP leader Shaheed Babar Suhail Butt and murderous attack on Shaukat Basra in which a PPP worker was martyred, are part of Nawaz government plot to convert Lahore into a no-go area for others.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appealed the youth of Punjab to rise up and play their role in throwing away Takht-e-Jati Umra for paving the way for a proud Pakistan and model Muslim country on the world map.
