Former President Zardari invited political parties delegation for Multi Party Conference

Islamabad, 01 March 2017: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has sent invitations to political parties’ heads to attend Multi Party Conference scheduled for 04 March at Zardari House Islamabad. The Conference will begin at 11.00am.

Following is the text of invitation letter and Agenda of Conference.

Subject: Multi Party Conference

As you are aware that country is faced with a number of critical issues, implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) and revival of military courts being on the top, that require brain storming by political parties.


With this end in view we have organized a Multi Party Conference in
Zardari House (House No. 8, Street 19, Sector F-8/2, Islamabad) on March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am.


I take this opportunity to invite you to the Conference, the agenda of which is enclosed. You are welcome to bring with you three representatives of your Party.

Proposed Agenda:

1.     Implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) during the last two years – Lessons learnt.


2.     Revival of the Military Courts; whether thebse should be revived or not and if revived the necessary parameters for their revival.


3.     Implementations of Reforms in FATA as part of NAP; discussion on various aspects of proposed reforms, ethnic profiling.


4.     Any other item with permission.
