KARACHI, November 19: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that future of a nation is predicted from the way it raises and grooms children and environment, they are provided. He urged both the Federal and Provincial governments to make a pledge on Universal Children Day to provide everything possible for children to grow to their full potential in a healthy, peaceful and prosperous nation.

“Lack of education, health and civic facilities are great hurdles to achieve our dreams. We have to overcome these hurdles and inject more efforts and funds for improvements as without these facilities our children won’t be able to defend or take pride in their past generations,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated in his message on the Universal Children Day being observed tomorrow under the United Nations.

PPP Chairman said that more than 22% polio cases of the world were reported from Pakistan before his mother and Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto launched a comprehensive nation-wide anti-polio campaign pursuing her dream for a polio-free Pakistan.”Today, we are close to fulfillment of this dream and let us start for more initiatives for the welfare, well-being, and protection of our children,” he added.

PPP Chairman asked Sindh government to speed up its initiatives for reforms in education sector and appreciated some of the steps taken so far to improve education system. “Every child has the potential to become Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto if given proper education, environment and attachment to human principles,” Bilawal Bhutto concluded.
