KARACHI (Oct 19): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that he was working hard to carry out development projects all over Sindh. Only start of work is not his objective but it’s quality and timely completion is being being cared of.
This he said while addressing a gathering organised to inaugurate FWO Public School and Trauma Centre at Duma Goth located on Super Highway at a distance of four kilometers from Toll Plaz today.
He said that the FWO was playing important role in the development of the province. They (FWO) are constructing or upgrading Super Highway to Motorway. ” We have given them K- IV project which the FWO has started at six yearscold cost and completing itvwithin two years of record period instead of four years,” he said and added ” this would be their great contribution,” he said.
He said that the school and Trauma Centre he and Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad had inaugurated jointly would be a game changer in education sector by providing quality education in rural areas of Karachi.
Syed Murad Shah said that the Trauma Centre at Super Highway was badly needed where there was no suitable facility to provide medical treatment to the injured of road accidents. “The centre is properly equipped with latest gadgets to provide complete health facilities to the villagers, including ladies living near super highway,” he said.
The chief minister said that he was working to improve all the roads of Karachi and beautify important roundabouts apart from proving necessary facilities to the people of Karachi.
He said that due to reconstruction if Super Highway the ratio of road accidents has increased considerably. He urged NHA to to construct diversions properly.
Earlier, the chief minister along with Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad inaugurated FWO Model School and Trauma Center and planted a sapling of a tree.
Latter, the chief minister alongwith DG FWO Major General Afzal and chief secretary Siddique Memon took aerial view of under construction K-IV bulk water supply project.
