KARACHI (Aug 16): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited old campus of Molve Abdul Haq Urdu University alongwith his two cabinet members, Manzoor Wassan and Imdad Pitafi. He laid floral wreath on the grave of Baba-i-Urdu Molvi Abdul Haq and offered fateh.
The chief minister visited the building the old campus and then addressed the 55th death anniversary gathering to pay tribute to Molvi Abdul Haq for his contribution. He said that Molvi Abdul Haq was a great scholar and people like him are born after centuries.
Syed Murad Ali Shah announced Rs5 million annual grant for the university and vowed to visit the university shortly to discuss the issues with the management.
