KARACHI, August 13: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has greeted the entire Pakistani nation on the eve of Independence Day being celebrated tomorrow on August 14 and urged every Pakistani citizen to work as unifying national force for achieving the monumental ideals of the founders of the nation.
In his message on the Independence Day, the PPP Chairman said that dictatorships and their monstrous creatures and by-products like extremism, terrorism, hatred and ethnic biases have played havoc with our nation having world’s largest youth population ratio. “Our nation has great potential and resources combination than any other nation on the globe. But the myopic policies of the unelected regimes without taking into consideration of the collective wisdom of the people have inflicted massive harm to this great nation,” he added.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that PPP was torch-bearer of the ideology of Pakistan and its leadership Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto among thousands of workers sacrificed their lives for the goals this country was founded for. “From one-man on-vote to nuclear technology, the PPP leadership gifted to our nation a sound start as a nation with its own collectively chosen Constitution,” he added.
PPP Chairman said this is the time to renew our pledge and put our nation on road to peace, prosperity and harmony. “Let us celebrate our diversity and past to create bright future for all our generations to come. Hate-mongering and wild accusations against each other should come to a halt. Dreams of our Founder of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and founders of democracy Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto can only be achieved through pursuing the true national interests,” he stated.
He reiterated that PPP shall always be in the forefront as in the past to turn Pakistan into a model Muslim nation with egalitarian society enjoying the fruits of democracy and freedom by incorporating their collective wisdom where every citizen counts as an equal partner in the nation-building.
