Islamabad, 08 August, 2016: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has condemned bomb blast in Civil Hospital Quetta on Monday morning that left dozens innocent people killed and many more injured. Members of lawyers’ community and media were also among casualties as lawyers were protesting against killing of President Balochistan Bar Bilal Anwer Kasi who was gunned down by the terrorists Monday morning and his dead body was brought to Civil Hospital Quetta.
Condemning the blast and the killing and maiming innocent people the former President said that incidents of terrorism and militancy have not and will not weaken the resolve to fight the militants to the finish.
Former President said that the attacks on innocent citizens and the bloodletting of innocent people cannot and must not be allowed to go on with impunity. He called for immediate, decisive and credible measures to stop this barbarism. The former President said that Pakistan People’s Party will not leave the people on the mercy of terrorists and will fight the militants with the help of the people.
Former President also offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved families, prayed for eternal peace to those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to those injured.
