KARACHI, August 2: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed Sindh government to expedite all the projects with funding from World Bank and complete the same within time-frame so that the benefits are passed on to the people of the province and improve their conditions.
PPP Chairman stated this while talking to a delegation of World Bank led by it Country Head in Pakistan Patchamuthu Illangovan and comprising Nadeem A, Siddiqui, Moazzam and Ameena Raja, which called on him at Bilawal House today. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Political Secretary to the Chairman Jameel Soomro were present at the meeting.
The World Bank delegation discussed with the Chairman about the project underway in Sindh with the assistance from World Bank in Irrigation, water conservation sectors and nutrition programme. The delegation also apprised about other schemes under the process of conception and approval for the province.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed the Sindh government on occasion for timely completion of all the projects being assisted by the World Bank besides speeding up the process of discussions for the new schemes envisaged with the cooperation of the World Bank.
