Karachi. 2.8.2016: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senators Doctor Kareem Khuwaja, Aijaz Dhamra and Engineer Gyanchand have condemned federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for his anti-Sindh thoughts, actions and policies. The fact is that the federal minister is even driving last nails in the coffin of the federal government and the Prime Minister while his bias against the smaller provinces especially against Sindh has become his true identity and introduction.
In a statement issued from PPP Media Cell, Sindh, they said that PPP had in its previous tenure as federal government gave provincial autonomy to the provinces through the 18th constitutional amendment but the federal government has retrenched all due shares from Sindh’s natural reserves while the federal minister has incessantly been chasing the goals of the unseen forces to hunt Sindh and overcome its constitutional autonomy.
They said that none other than the PMLN and in particular the federal interior minister damaged the trust of the provinces and inflicted irreparable damages to the federation.
They said that the recent statements by the federal interior minister were highly provocative and those statements and onward actions have created unrest and anger in Sindh across the board.
They said that it is the prerogative of the provinces to ask the federal government to send Rangers or any other support to deal with certain emerging scenario but the federal government can not bully the provinces for its vested interests. Why the federal interior minister is silent over Model Town carnage and Chotu Gang and why he is reluctant to impose his dictatorial policy in Punjab.
They warned the federal interior minister to stop maligning the smaller provinces especially Sindh and dictating and imposing designs for vested interests.
