Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the target killing of three people at Dera Ismail Khan and a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at Peshawar.
In a press statement here, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that, “the recent incidents of target killing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can be a conspiracy to destabilize the peace and can further lead the province towards sectarian riots. It is awful that no KP government official has yet visited the families of those gunned down today, nor any compensation has been offered to them.”
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party termed it a huge failure of KP police, which has been portrayed as the best police of the country through propaganda. “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government needs to tackle the issue of target killing seriously and provide protection to the people”, he said.
He also expressed sympathies with the families of the deceased and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and give strength to their loved ones to bear this irreparable loss.
