Karachi. 30.6.2016: Pakistan People’s party (PPP) MNAs Mir Munawar Talpur, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and Nawab Ali Wassan while showing reaction on a statement by Religious seminary Haqqania Administrator Maulana Sami Ul Haque in which the later had warned former President and PPP Parliamentarian President Asif Ali Zardari of dire consequences said that PPP is that party, which is the custodian of martyrs for democracy and cannot be intimidated of consequences as entire PPP from the top to bottom is always prepared to embrace martyrdom but would never bow down their heads to the forces of oppression and terrorism.

In a statement issued from PPP Media Cell Sindh, they said that those, who shout louder hardly do anything practical. It is the PPP, which has been facing strong media trial since past seven years, the terrorist organisations under the aegis of seminaries like that of Haqqania prevented it from election campaigns, murdered Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, kidnapped PPP Punjab’s former Governor Salman Taseer’s son Shahbaz Taseer, kidnapped former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf raza Gilani’s son Ali Gilani and murdered former federal minister Shahbaz Bhatti.

They said the forces of evils could not eliminate PPP and damage the sanctity of Pakistan but they are being eliminated very fast.

They said that PPP is not against education but only opposes the spread of extremism and terrorism, which is unfortunately a landmark of certain seminaries. The PPP wanted the Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa government to stop funding the seminaries and focus on improving the modern education and upgradation of schooling system.
