Islamabad, 01 June 2016: Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that people from every walk of life are protesting against rulers of Punjab but government is unmoved.
Talking to different delegations at his residence in Islamabad Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that Punjab government has indifferent attitude towards people of Punjab who have been forced to protest for their rights. He said power load shedding has turned people’s lives miserable. Lawlessness is at its peak and girls are being burned alive. He said that poor are being targeted in Punjab because they vote for Pakistan Peoples Party.
Former Prime Minister said federal government has withdrawn subsidy on fertilizer which is a clear indication that federal and Punjab governments are anti-farmers. The country is in threat of food crisis. In the last three years these governments have given nothing but miseries to the people. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party will once again bounce back with the support of people and will allay all injustices meted out to the people by this government.
