KARACHI, April 23: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari paid a visit to Upper Gizri Government Hospital in Karachi today to personally monitor precautionary measures taken by Sindh government for heat stroke victims.
Bakhatwar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zaradri visited the First Response Heat Stroke Center and met with patients admitted there. Sindh Local Government Minister Jam Khan Shoro briefed them about measures taken by all provincial government departments for immediate response about heat stroke wave in the city.
On the occasion, Jam Khan Shoro informed that 73 First Response Heat Stroke Centers have been established in city besides 58 heat stroke wards in different government and private hospitals as well as 40 first response heat stroke centers are also established in local government department hospitals. He told that 100 camps also established in different parts of city equipped with all required facilities.
Bakhtwar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari stressed Sindh government should further gear up its efforts to meet any natural emergencies to mitigate the sufferings of calamities.
They also assured support to the authorities for meeting the other requirements to make these centers more effective in service-delivery.
