KARACHI, April 22: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who arrived from Islamabad today, drove directly from the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport to Korangi area to attend the Soyem of one of the seven slain policemen who were martyred on Wednesday while guarding the polio workers in Orangi Town.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto met with the bereaved family members of martyred police constable Mohammad Ismail of Muhafiz Force and sympathized them. He said that sacrifices of the policemen shall never be forgotten as they laid down their lives to save the children of the nation from crippling disease of polio.
PPP Chairman assured the martyr’s family that PPP and Sindh government would look after the children of the martyr and they would be provided every facility to complete their studies. He also appreciated Chief Minister for his announcement to continue the payment of martyrs’ salaries up to the age of their retirement.
