PPP Senators show deep concern about action to eliminate terrorists’ nurseries

Karachi. 28.3.2016: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senators Dr Karim Khawaja, Ajiz Dhamra and Engineer Gyan Chand said the entire nation especially the PPP has been demanding steps for the elimination of nurseries of extremism in Punjab because without eliminating these nurseries, the war against terror could not be won and the country could not be put on the track of progress and prosperity. However, the federal government has always ignored this national demand ony for protecting the Punjab government, which is team B of the federal government of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
In a statement issued from the PPP Media Cell Sindh, the PPP Senators said that this tactical maneuvour of the federal government has finally resulted in a deadly terror attack at Gulshan-e Iqbal Park in Lahore in which at least 72 died and more than 300 were injured while a lot from the injured are in critical conditions.
They said that the ongoing operation Zarb-e Azb could not be won against the terrorist organisation unless the promoters and facilitators of terrorists are not eliminated  and for this the armed forces of the country have to penetrate the nurseries of terrorism in Punjab.
They said that the Army Chief has timely taken a decision to launch a crackdown on the terrorists in Punjab and it has created a ray of hope for the complete elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.
The PPP Senators said that the terrorists targeting the innocent citizens and personnel of the armed and security forces are neither Muslim not they are human. They deserve to be executed at all cost.
They said that the PPP as always stands shoulder to shoulder with the Army in fight against terrorism.
