Karachi. 15.3.2016: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentary Leader in Senate and PPP Media Cell in-charge Senator Saeed Ghani said the elements that are trumpeting for the Presidential System in Pakistan are in real anti-democracy and anti-masses elements and are conspiring against the Parliamentary System of government.
In a statement issued from the PPP Media Cell Sindh, Senator Ghani said that the PPP is the only political party in Pakistan that has offered countless sacrifices for the democracy and the martyrdom of Shaheed Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is a proof of dedication of each Jiala to the democracy and that the Presidential System would never be in a position to replace the Parliamentary System of government in the country until the last Jiala is present. All conspiracies would die and the Parliamentary System of government is the sole system for the country.
He said that the country as compared to the parliamentary democracy had been ruled by longer duration Presidential system, which rendered the country vulnerable to variety of serious challenges. The nation is still in pains and agonies of those previous Presidential rules over the country.
Senator Ghani said that a handful of conspirators have emerged on the canvass and are round the clock busy in duping the masses with their hollow slogans for the Presidential system in the country but these conspirators would soon learn about the craving and dedication of the masses for the democracy and the Parliamentary system of government as per the vision of Shaheed Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
