KARACHI, February 29: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party has rejected the meager reduction in PoL prices by Nawaz Sharif government for the month of March and accused it of fleecing the consumers in the country despite huge decrease in PoL prices in the international market.
In a press statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PoL prices should be cut by atleast Rs20 per liter to transfer partial benefit of the international oil price fall to the people of Pakistan. However, the Nawaz government is economically squeezing the consumers since the decline spell of oil prices in the world market, he added.
He said the governments in the world have reduced PoL remarkably as the international oil market diving to all-time low but the PML-N government has become enemy of the people and siphoning off the benefit of public and utilizing the funds for personal projection schemes.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP won’t tolerate the anti-people and anti-consumers policy of the Federal government and its legislators would raise voice against this naked atrocity at all the elected forums of the country.
