KARACHI, February 04: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party has condemned the midnight raids and arrests of Peoples Unity of PIA leaders in Karachi and asked the Nawaz Sharif government to desist from blood-shedding and making enforced disappearances of PIA employees.
It may be recalled that Peoples Unity of PIA leaders Hidayatullah, Zameer Chandio, Saifullah Larik, Mansoor Dhiloun and two others were picked up by law enforcing agencies last midnight. They were taken to unknown place and reportedly are held incommunicado.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that instead of taking action against the innocent employees of PIA, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Ministers are bent upon targeting the peaceful protesters to snatch the public assets and distribute the same among his cronies.
PPP Chairman demanded immediate release of the arrested employees and assured the PIA employees that his Party will remain part and parcel of their struggle for just cause.
