PPP South Punjab President Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood called on Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

KARACHI, December 22: Pakistan Peoples Party South Punjab President Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood called on Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House and submitted the report about Party performance in the third phase of Local Government elections in South Punjab.
Sons of PPP South Punjab President MNA Makhdoom Syed Mustafa Mehmood and MPA Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mehmood also attended the meeting. Vice President PPPP Senator Sherry Rehman and Jameel Soomro also present on the occasion.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood on the victory of PPP in the Local Government elections in Rahimyar Khan district. He said that PPP workers and Jiyalas of South Punjab have always remained in the forefront of the Party’s struggle for democracy and against martial laws and they will again be mobilized and organized as vibrant political workers.
PPP Chairman said that those carrying out negative propaganda against the PPP shall remorse soon and the Party will surface soon as dominant political force in entire Punjab. He said that PPP will win the general elections in 2018 overwhelmingly in all the four provinces and form the government in center and four provinces with the support of masses.
Earlier, Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood gave detailed briefing to the Chairman about overall performance of the Party in Local government elections in South Punjab.
He also invited the Chairman to visit Rahimyar Khan to address a public meeting and meet the Party workers, which Bilawal Bhutto accepted and said he would visit South Punjab soon.
