Islamabad November 4, 2015: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed grief and shock over the collapse of a factory building in Lahore Wednesday evening resulting in the death of sixteen innocent people when the last reports came in.
In a statement the former President said that he was deeply grieved over the tragic incident and extended sincere condolences to the bereaved families.
He expressed the hope that every effort is being made to rescue those still trapped in the debris. “It is critical that those still trapped in the debris of collapsed building are rescued without loss of time”.
The former President also asked the leadership of the Party’s provincial chapter to do whatever is required to provide succor and relief to the bereaved families and those injured..
