KARACHI, October 26: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party has asked former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and President PPP Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa Senator Khanzada Khan to mobilize the Party workers and cadres to arrange an urgent and timely rescue and relief for the victims of earthquake in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa.
Raja Pervez Ashraf and Senator Khanzada Khan called on the PPP Chairman at Bilawal House today. Former Ambassador to the United States Senator Sherry Rehman and Jameel Soomro also present on the occasion. Others who also called on separately included Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza, Ghulam Qadir and member Central Executive Committee (CEC) from Balochistan and former Federal Minister Mir Baz Mohammad Khetran.
He said devastating earthquake has caused havoc in many parts of the country and there is grave need of support to all those who had suffered a lot in the heavy jolts.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked the Party leaders to extend all possible help to the rescue and relief operations and mobilize the workers.
Earlier, the PPP leaders briefed the Chairman about political situation in their respective areas.
