Information Minister has said services of contract employees of Pakistan Ordnance Factories would be regularized.Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that services of contract employees of Pakistan Ordnance Factories would soon be regularized.
Addressing the protesting employees of POF in Islamabad on Tuesday afternoon‚ he said the Prime Minister has already signed the summary for up-gradation of POF employees.
He said that a report about regularization of casual employees of the POF would be presented in the committee headed by Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah on Wednesday.
He said the Prime Minister has also approved Housing Colony for POF employees.
He said that PPP government is taking all necessary steps for welfare of workers.
The protestors dispersed peacefully after assurance of the minister.
